Could the Toyota Supra be Making a Comeback?

If you're looking for the epitome of Japanese performance vehicles from all the way back in 1978 to just 10 years ago in 2002, than drivers in Palo Alto would find there is only one: the Toyota Supra. Toyota may have moved on from the Supra, offering a lineup of efficient new Toyota models you can find here at Magnussen's Toyota of Palo Alto, but they never closed the door on it entirely. Recently, there have been some hints that the Supra could return.

These days, fuel-efficiency goes beyond hybrid systems. Way beyond. Automakers are taking an holistic approach to environmentally-friendly vehicle technology, from the basic hybrid drivetrain to regenerative braking to lighter vehicle mass to improved aerodynamics. Toyota took the spotlight earlier this month in Geneva with their new FT-Bh concept that has the potential to boast numbers like 110 mpg thanks to all of the technology Toyota has worked to develop.
