2018 Toyota Camry 2.5-liter Inline 4 oil typeÂ
According to the official 2018 Toyota Camry owner’s manual, you should be aiming to put SAEÂ 0W-16 viscosity oil inside your engine. This is due to the way this oil is made, which helps you get optimal performance when you’re starting your engine in cold temperatures, performing at high speeds and all else. If SAE 0W-16 is not available, however, you’re safe using higher level fluids such as SAE 0W-20 oil inside.

2018 Toyota Camry 3.5-liter V6 oil typeÂ
The 2018 Camry also comes with a 3.5-liter V6 engine on higher trims, and because of its unique configuration and more power displaced, you’ll need a stronger oil type to keep it moving. Owner’s manuals recommend SAE 0W-20 for this, though you can also use SAE 5W-20 in a pinch if need be.Â
