The most affordable choice from the Toyota lineup is receiving a few upgrades for the new model year. Next month, the 2018 Toyota Yaris will make its debut at the New York International Auto Show showcasing new safety and convenience features that all drivers will appreciate. We’re going to explore these in detail to get a better idea of what this hatchback will have to offer.
What’s new for the 2018 Toyota Yaris?
There are three trims available to choose from – L, LE and SE. The two base models will sport a new bold front fascia with a new grille and chrome accents. The 2018 Yaris SE trim will get a sporty front fascia with a new piano black mesh pattern grille complimented by a chrome accent surround.
Drivers will notice a change to the rear for the SE model as well with wider, horizontal tail lamps that are integrated into the rear door, a new rear bumper and a new lower bumper garnish with side reflectors that give it an overall broader stance.
2018 Toyota Yaris: Technology Upgrades –
In addition to the appearance changes, the 2018 Yaris will feature upgraded technology features as well. The L and LE models will be set with standard Entune Audio systems that include a 6.1-inch touch screen display and Bluetooth wireless technology. The SE trim will have Entune Audio Plus with Connected Navigation App that sports a 7.0-inch high resolution touchscreen display and includes SiriusXM Satellite Radio.

As for safety, the 2018 Yaris will come standard with Toyota Safety Sense-C. This package includes Toyota’s Pre-Collision System, Lane Departure Alert and Automatic High Beams.
