Oakland Ballet’s “The Nutcracker”

Oakland’s Paramount Theatre will again host one of the most iconic productions of the Christmas season on December 22 and 23; we’re talking of course about The Nutcracker, Tchaikovsky’s lasting testament to the beauty that happens when you combine classical music and the Christmas spirit. Join the cast and go on a journey that you won’t soon forget!

Kim Nalley’s “Gospel Christmas”

As far as holiday concerts go, nothing is better than hearing your favorite Christmas songs with a hint of jazz and blues to spice things up. That’s Kim Nalley’s specialty, and she’ll be performing at Feinstein’s at the Nikko on December 16. Come by and hear all the best seasonal tunes with a pleasing twist – it’s sure to be fun for all ages!

Smuin’s “The Christmas Ballet”

Sometimes, there’s nothing better than catching a good ballet production – the airtight choreography and fantastic music accompaniments are certainly a sight to behold, and from December 13 through the 15, stop by the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts to check out a Christmas-themed ballet presentation! Each act is sure to ignite awe and wonder for all who attend.
