What’s new for the 2023 Toyota Prius? 

Its exterior is sleek and sporty with a coupe-inspired shape, low roofline, and smooth body panels. The interior features modern designs and advanced technology displays with ambient lighting. The new model has a larger 2.0L engine and a revised hybrid system that provides over 60% more combined system horsepower compared to the prior generation.  

How much more powerful is the 2023 Toyota Prius? 

The output for AWD models has increased to 196 net hp, and for FWD models has increased to 194 net hp. The maximum engine torque has increased by nearly 16%, and the torque on electric motor generator two has increased by over 20%. Overall, the new 2023 Prius is designed to inspire the senses and provide style, performance, and efficiency without compromise.
