Every year in the first weekend of September, we’re treated to a much-needed day off from the hassles of everyday life. Though the time off for Labor Day is certainly nice, it’s also a time to remember the hard-working Californians and Americans that have come before us to make this such a great place to live. Giants and Athletics BaseballÂ
The long weekend will provide plenty of fun if you’re a fan of America’s pastime. From September 1-3, the Giants will be hosting the St. Louis Cardinals, and the Athletics will play the Los Angeles Angels on Labor Day itself. Tickets are readily available, and it promises to be a good time for all! Â
Live Music at Shoreline AmphitheatreÂ
Of course, if you’re looking for entertainment on the music side of things, Shoreline Amphitheatre has just what you need. Chris Stapleton will headline on September 1, and Foreigner and Cheap Trick will play the next day! Whether you’re a fan of country or classic rock, you’re sure to have fun at Shoreline.
Sausalito Art FestivalÂ
Across the bay from us lies Sausalito, and its annual art festival is scheduled to happen over the Labor Day Weekend. You’ll be treated to fine wine, great food, premium beer and live entertainment throughout both days of the festival. In addition, hundreds of cool art pieces will be on display! Â
San Francisco Comic ConÂ
If you’re a fan of comic books and movies based on them, Comic Con is always a favorite. This year, it will be returning to the Mascone Center West, and you’ll get the chance to be around top stars like Sean Astin, Cary Elwes and more. Also, plenty of exhibits will be on display throughout the festival!Â
