Labor Day Weekend 2019 Events in and near Palo Alto CA

Labor Day is one of our favorite times of the year here in California’s Bay Area – it’s of course a welcome day off from work or school, in celebration of those who have worked so hard to make America the strong nation that it is, but it’s also an unofficial beginning to fall! Labor Day kicks off sweater season, and we couldn’t be more excited. First, though, join Toyota Palo Alto at some of these awesome Labor Day Weekend 2019 Events in and near Palo Alto CA – we think you’ll have a great time!

Labor Day Boat Party

Our area of the world is well-known for its cruises and boating culture, and that’ll be the case during the Labor Day festivities as well. Head over to Jack London Square in Oakland on September 1 for its annual Labor Day Boat Party, complete with 3 hours of sailing, two live DJs, plenty of great times, and awesome views of the bay!

Labor Day Beer Lunch Cruise

Launching from Hornblower Cruises on September 2, this beer cruise is also a can’t-miss if you’re looking to have some Labor Day fun on the water. It’s a two-hour cruise, complete with background entertainment, an American-style buffet, and plenty of great champagnes and beers. It’s sure to be awesome for all!

Labor Day Beach BBQ & Bonfire

If you’re looking for a more relaxed and low-key Labor Day celebration, come over to Ocean Beach Fire Pits in San Francisco on September 2 for its annual beach BBQ. There’ll be a potluck, plenty of games, prizes and a wealth of activities to check out. We can’t recommend it strongly enough!

49th Annual Belmont Greek Festival

Greek culture is prevalent in our area, as it’s one of the most eclectic (and, in our opinion, fun) in the world. Come to the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Cross over Labor Day Weekend for a festival full of Greek food, live music and dancing, a mythology play, and even some games for the kids!
