New features and capabilities of the 2019 Toyota Avalon

Over the weekend, the Detroit Auto Show played host to some of the coolest new vehicles that many of the world’s top automakers have to offer. One of these is obviously Toyota, and with the Avalon fitting the bill as its luxury line, we’re sure you’ve been itching to see what it’s come up with for the coming years. Our Toyota Palo Alto team has some good news to report, and today we invite you to join us and check out the new features and capabilities of the 2019 Toyota Avalon!

As its role in the Toyota family is a cutting-edge full-size sedan, we’re sure you’ll be excited to see what the 2019 Avalon will house inside. A 9-inch touchscreen will bring along with it EnTune 3.0 Plus infotainment connection, featuring Scout GPS Link, a 2G Wi-Fi hotspot, and Apple CarPlay compatibility. In addition, a wireless smartphone charger and five available USB ports allow you to stay connected and juiced no matter where you’re going!

We know that your ultimate peace and quiet is paramount when you’re on the road, which is why we’re happy to say that the 2019 Avalon will be able to achieve this easily. Sound-deadening materials and handles will ensure that you can ride on in quiet comfort, even while the Avalon’s high-energy engine rears back and moves you forward with all the adrenaline you need.

2019 Toyota Avalon performance and safety innovations

Speaking of the Avalon’s engine, it looks to offer the same 3.5-liter V6 (with 301 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque) that we’ve seen in years past, still plenty of punch for the daily drive. However, on higher trims you can find up to five available drive modes-Sport, Eco, Sport+, Normal, and Custom – that are all able to contour to the terrain you’re looking to conquer.

As you drive, you can trust that the 2019 Avalon will be able to keep you safe, as a result of the brand-new driver assistance features it will include. Some of the top innovations highlighted are a panoramic parking camera, adaptive cruise control, and an all-new “intelligent clearance sonar,” which we can only assume will keep you moving with security and peace of mind. This, combined with the Avalon’s wider, lower stance, promises to make the all-new model a legend!
