Oktoberfest Celebrations near Palo Alto CA for 2018

There are two kinds of people in the world – those whose favorite season is fall, and those who are lying to themselves. The chiller air mixed with an overall feeling of fun and excitement is enough to get anyone in the spirit of the season, especially with all the great festivals that are on the horizon. Oktoberfest events are a way for us to celebrate German heritage and culture, and they always promise to be a great time. We want to give you an inside look at some of our favorites coming up this month and next, so grab your friends and check out the coolest Oktoberfest celebrations near Palo Alto CA for 2018!

Original Pattern Oktoberfest (September 22)

Just after the first day of fall, Original Pattern Brewing Company in Oakland will be hosting an incredible Oktoberfest celebration. Authentic music and food are both on the menu, and the brewery will be releasing its new line of German (and Belgian) beers. Best of all, proceeds from entry tickets will be donated to Running for a Better Oakland, a non-profit that encourages healthy lifestyles in kids!

Bottomless Oktoberfest (September 29)

There are plenty of “Bottomless Oktoberfest” events around our area, but the one we’re focusing on is happening on September 29 at SPARK Social in San Francisco. With live entertainment, over 15 food trucks, outdoor games, and of course, All-You-Can-Drink beer selections, it promises to be a fun day on the town. They do say lederhosen is encouraged, however, so keep that in mind.

Los Lagos Oktoberfest (October 6)

Located in San Jose, Los Lagos Golf Course is about to come alive on October 6; admission to the course’s Oktoberfest celebration is free, and you’ll get the chance to eat great German food, listen to music straight from the culture, and sample as many brews as you want! There’s also a stein holding contest and yodeling contest – sign us up.

Peninsula Oktoberfest (October 13)

Just down the street in San Carlos is the Hiller Aviation Museum, which will be hosting its Peninsula Oktoberfest on October 13. Great German beers and Bavarian music will be setting the stage for the afternoon and evening, and it all translates into an event that’s sure to provide an engaging atmosphere. Check it out!
