Toyota Lineup at the NAIAS

The North American International Auto Show in Detroit is the first show of the season for the industry to display its up and comers or to announce the future of the industry in one way or another. The Toyota lineup at the NAIAS was fully stocked with some of the brands best and brightest, making for quite a great show in Detroit for 2015. Let’s find out about what Toyota is bringing to the table.

One of the big pieces on the Toyota section of the showroom floor was the 2016 Toyota Tacoma. The previous model Tacoma is one of the top selling Toyota models, and this new model is set to take over the throne. For the 2016 Model, drivers will see changes in the exterior along with new technologies be brought to the vehicle. A new 3.5-liter V6 engine, Multi-Terrain Select with Crawl Control, wireless device charging, push-button start, and blind-spot monitoring systems are in the works for the production version of the all-new 2016 Toyota Tacoma.

The other big showstopper that Toyota had brought to the auto show in Detroit was the ever popular 2016 Toyota Mirai hydrogen vehicle. Through the combination of hydrogen gas and oxygen, the internals create electrical energy to power your vehicle. Nothing but pure water and water vapor are expelled from the exhaust pipe. This technology will make you completely independent from the typical gasoline and will let you drive further and much more efficiently.

Being one of the industry leaders, Toyota is one of the vehicle automakers that can affect real change in the industry, and that is exactly what they intend to do with vehicles like the Mirai.
