November is Alzheimer’s Awareness month and here at Toyota Palo Alto, we are committed to helping end this disease. We will be making donations all month long to help fund research. Alzheimer’s disease is the sixth leading cause of death and with your help we can make a difference.
When is Alzheimer’s Awareness Month?
More than five million people are living with Alzheimer’s disease and every 67 seconds someone develops the disease. There is no cure yet, but we can make a difference for future generations by donating our time and money to organizations like the Stanford Alzheimer’s Disease Research Foundation. For the month of November, here at Toyota Palo Alto, we will be donating $100 to the Stanford Alzheimer’s Research Foundation for every Toyota we retail. This foundation undertakes the important work in researching possible cures and ways to prevent this disease.
In addition, Toyota Corporation will generously match the fund we raise. We hope to reach our goal of donating $20,00 to this worthy charity. Please help us achieve this goal by purchasing a vehicle from Toyota Palo Alto or by making your own donation. When you consider that Alzheimer’s kills more people than breast and prostate cancer combined, there is no room to doubt the importance of supporting this cause.
If you are interested in learning more about how you can help, call or visit Toyota Palo Alto. We will be able to answer any further questions you might have. We can also help you schedule a test drive here in the Bay Area. Together we can make a difference in helping to fight Alzheimer’s disease.
