Electric vehicles (EVs) are becoming more common every day. They do have limitations, however, which are definitely worth investigating. What are some advantages of hybrids over EVs? Read on to find out!
Advantages of Hybrids Over EVs. Advantage: Hybrid

Range. One of the biggest advantages that hybrids have over EVs is range. Most EVs have a range of 300 miles or less. Even with the fastest level of charging, completely recharging can take more than an hour and a half. Completely charging on a 240v home setup can take nine or more hours. Hybrids of all kinds at least partially recharge themselves, which means the wait time is the minute or so of filling up the gas tank. Speaking of which, the 2022 Toyota Prius Prime can go roughly 640 miles on a tank of gas.
Convenience. Another advantage that hybrids have over EVs is convenience. The current infrastructure is just beginning to support EVs, whereas filling up your tank is never a problem even in the most remote of areas. And as mentioned above, filling up takes very little time out of your day – whether you’re running around town or on a road trip.
