Even though both of these vehicles have the name Corolla, they are quite different. The major difference between these vehicles is that the Corolla is a compact sedan and the Corolla iM is a hatchback. This means that the Corolla iM offers more cargo space for a slightly higher starting price. The smaller classic Corolla starts out at just $18,500 and offers 13 cubic feet of cargo space. The Corolla iM has a starting price of $18,750 and has 20.8 cubic feet of cargo space.
Even though the Corolla iM has a larger cargo space, it still gets the same impressive fuel efficiency as the classic Corolla. Both of these vehicles get an impressive 28 city/36 highway mpg, so whichever model you choose, you will be able to save time and money fueling up.
