If so, then you should join the staff here at Toyota Palo Alto as we explore the importance of multi-point inspections for your Toyota vehicle today!
Vehicle Elements Evaluated in a Multi-Point Inspection
Multi-point inspections are aptly named. When this service is conducted, a Toyota Certified Technician will inspect multiple key points of your Toyota vehicle. Each service technician follows a multi-point inspection checklist and will mark one of three colored boxes that indicates the current status for each point of the inspection. Typically, these boxes are green, yellow, or red in color.
Green boxes indicate no attention is needed, yellow boxes
indicate that attention will be needed soon, and red boxes indicate that immediate
attention is needed to correct an issue. Areas of the vehicle that are evaluated
with multi-point inspections include:
- Interior
- Exterior
- Engine
- Battery
- Hoses & Belts
- Heating & Cooling
- Vehicle Fluid Levels
- Transmission
- Under Vehicle Leaks
- Tires & Brakes
