As the best-selling car in America, the Toyota Camry has made a name for itself over the years. Drivers continue to turn to this midsize sedan because it’s affordable, trustworthy, efficient and filled to the brim with all the latest features. The 2018 Camry will be a complete redesign, and it has huge shoes to fill. Our team here at Magnussen’s Toyota of Palo Alto is confident it’ll be more impressive than any of the previous models before it.
The Camry is designed with precision and attention to detail, which in turn increase the safety and overall connectivity for drivers and passengers alike. This year, Toyota is looking to take the Camry to a new level to increase exhilaration and emotion that drivers feel while behind the wheel. Let’s dive in to learn more.

We mentioned above that the 2018 Toyota Camry has gone through a complete redesign, which means drivers have a lot to look forward to for this year’s model. The chart above highlights some of the major changes, but there were three overall design goals set forth for the 2018 Camry: a distinctive, low center of gravity that results in a firm wide stance; a practical-yet-emotionally stable cabin profile; a sporty and upscale image both inside and out.
When it comes to performance, drivers will have the choice of three new powertrains for the 2018 Camry. These include a 3.5L V-6 with D-4S Fuel Injection as well as an all-new 2.5L I-4 gasoline engine paired with a new 8-speed Direct-Shift automatic transmission. The last option is a next-generation Toyota Hybrid System.
As for safety, Toyota Safety Sense P is standard on all models for the ultimate protection. With ten airbags throughout the cabin as well as a backup camera and the Star Safety System, drivers are set to keep everyone protected.
