Rental Policy and Terms:

Detailed Policy Terms

Must be 21 years of age or older, need a valid driver's license and a major credit card in your own name to rent a TRAC vehicle. Additional $29 daily fee applicable to renters of under 25 years of age. A valid license from the Renter's state of residence or country of origin is required (i.e., must not be expired, must not have any restrictions). An International Driving Permit is acceptable. A learner's permit is not an acceptable license. Proof of full coverage insurance (including comprehensive & collision) is required and offered at time of rental. Renters with full coverage insurance that are transferable to their rental vehicle must bring their insurance card for verification. Rental contracts must be signed in person at the dealership. Rental contracts may not be faxed, emailed or renewed by phone. Rental contracts may not be signed by anyone other than the Renter. Customers are responsible for any vehicle damage or other costs while the rental vehicle is in their possession, and are expected to return rental vehicles in the same condition they received them except for ordinary wear. $200 rental car deposit applies. Rental cars are permitted to Canada but prohibited from being driven into Mexico. Rental vehicles being paid for by Toyota Warranty, Service Department, Sales Department or another entity does not include fuel used by the customer. Customers must return the vehicle with the same fuel level at the time of rental. A charge of $8.99 per gallon will be assessed to customers returning vehicles with fuel levels below those recorded upon renting the vehicles. Daily rentals are based on a 24-hour period. Example, if you rent a vehicle at 8AM, it must be returned no later than 8AM the next day. Transporting animals in rental vehicles is permitted, but a $300.00 cleaning fee will be charged if cleaning is required. Rental vehicles being paid for by a third party must be returned within 24 hours of vehicle repairs being completed or customers will be charged the retail rate for each additional day the customer retains the rental vehicle. Smoking not allowed. $300.00 fee is applied if violated. Rental vehicles must be returned during normal business hours: MON-FRI 7 AM-8:30 PM. Customers with their vehicles in the Service Department can pick up and return their rental cars to their service advisors Saturdays from 7:30AM to 5PM. No rental car returns on Sunday, Toyota Rent a Car is closed. Please ask your rental agent for a list of full policy terms and conditions. All Toyota Rental Rates expire on the last day of every month.
