Rental Policy and Terms:

Must be 21 years of age or older, need a valid driver's license and a major credit card in your own name to rent a TRAC vehicle. Additional $29 daily fee applicable to renters of under 25 years of age.

All (primary & secondary) drivers must be registered. A valid license from the Renter's state of residence or country of origin is required (i.e., must not be expired, must not have any restrictions). An International Driving Permit is acceptable. A learner's permit is not an acceptable license.

Proof of full coverage insurance (including comprehensive & collision) is required and offered at time of rental. Renters with full coverage insurance that are transferable to their rental vehicle must bring their insurance card for verification.

Rental contracts must be signed in person at the dealership. Rental contracts may not be faxed, emailed or renewed by phone. Rental contracts may not be signed by anyone other than the Renter.

Customers are responsible for any vehicle damage or other costs while the rental vehicle is in their possession, and are expected to return rental vehicles in the same condition they received them except for ordinary wear.

$200 rental car deposit applies.

Smoking Policy: Magnussen's Toyota rental vehicles are Smoke-Free. To safeguard health of all consumers & to comply with respective laws, all types of smoking, including vaping, in rental vehicles is not permitted. A minimum of $300.00 cleaning fee is applied if violated.

Pet Policy: Certified & registered service dogs are allowed in rental vehicles. Customers need to keep pets crated and return their rental car in clean condition and free of pet hair & other residue to avoid cleaning, detailing and sanitization fees. A starting fee of $300.00 will be charged if cleaning is required.

Important: All pets & animals must be disclosed in advance to the rental advisors. To avoid serious injury, be sure that your pet, as any occupant of the rented vehicle, is properly secured while traveling in a vehicle. Service animals used by customers with disabilities are allowed in the vehicle without a carrier.

Additional prohibited categories include, but not limited to, road racing, drag racing, participating in unsanctioned vehicle gatherings.

Per Toyota Rent A Car Program Rules, all vehicles rented at Magnussen's Toyota must be returned to Magnussen's Toyota.

Customers must return the vehicle with the same fuel level at the time of rental. A charge of $8.99 per gallon will be assessed to customers returning vehicles with fuel levels below those recorded upon renting the vehicles.

Daily rentals are based on a 24-hour period. Example, if you rent a vehicle at 8:00 AM, it must be returned no later than 8:00 AM the next day.

Rental vehicles must be returned during normal business hours: Monday through Friday 7:00 AM-8:30 PM. Customers with their vehicles in the Service Department can pick up and return their rental cars to their service advisors Saturdays from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM and to the Sales Department on Sundays from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Holidays may alter these hours.

Toyota Rent a Car vehicles are allowed in the continental United States, Alaska and Canada. Toyota Rent a Car vehicles are not allowed, not covered in Mexico.

If the vehicle is driven off road, Toyota will be notified. Also, additional charges may be incurred.
